Privacy Policy

Coincision is a decision-support tool for crypto traders. This page explains what we collect, why, how long we keep it, and how you can get it removed. We aim for plain language.

What we collect

  • Account information — the email address, display name, and password you provide when you register. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt; the plaintext never leaves your browser, and we cannot recover it.
  • Session data — a session cookie so you stay logged in, and (if you tick "Keep me signed in") a longer-lived remember-me cookie tied to a rotating token stored in our database.
  • Usage records — each coin analysis you run: symbol, timeframe, timestamp, and your user ID. We use this to enforce free-plan limits, build your favorites, and (optionally) show you your recent analyses on the dashboard.
  • Server logs — standard web-server access + error logs (IP, user agent, timestamp, request path). Retained on the server for up to 30 days, then rotated out.
  • Outbound-click logs — when you click one of our "Sign up with Pionex" links, we record the click (source page, timestamp, user ID if you're logged in) so we can see which parts of the site drive interest.
  • Payment information (Premium subscribers) — processed entirely by Stripe. We never see or store your card number, CVC, or bank details. We keep the Stripe customer ID and subscription status Stripe sends back so we know whether your Premium is active.

What we do NOT collect

  • Your Pionex account credentials or API keys — the tool reads Pionex's public market data only.
  • Your wallet addresses, trades, balances, or holdings.
  • Third-party analytics or advertising trackers. There is no Google Analytics, no Meta pixel, no session recording.

Why we collect it

  • To let you log in and stay logged in across sessions.
  • To run the tool: score the coin you asked about, remember your favorites, and personalize your dashboard.
  • To enforce free-plan limits fairly and to keep the tool running for everyone.
  • To send you account-related email you actually asked for (password resets, invitation redemptions, billing receipts if you're a Premium subscriber).

Who we share it with

Only the third-party services we need to make the site work:

  • Stripe — payment processing for Premium subscriptions. Their privacy policy.
  • Resend — email delivery (password resets, invitations, billing receipts). Their privacy policy.
  • Pionex — we read their public market-data API. No personal data is sent to Pionex. Their privacy policy.

We do not sell, rent, or otherwise share your personal information with anyone else.

Cookies

We use three functional cookies, all first-party:

  • PHPSESSID — server-side session identifier; needed for authentication and CSRF protection.
  • remember_token — set only if you tick "Keep me signed in". Expires after 30 days of inactivity.
  • A CSRF token stored in your session (not a separate cookie).

We do not set any third-party or advertising cookies.

How long we keep it

  • Account information — until you ask us to delete your account.
  • Usage records — up to 12 months, then rolled into aggregate counters.
  • Server logs — up to 30 days.
  • Outbound-click logs — up to 12 months.
  • Payment records — kept as long as we're legally required to (typically 7 years for tax records), and only the metadata Stripe sends us.

Your rights

You can:

  • Access and edit your profile from /profile.php.
  • Ask us to delete your account and all associated data. Email admin@coincision.com and we'll process it within 30 days.
  • Ask for a copy of everything we hold about you. Same email address.

If you're in the EU/EEA/UK, you have GDPR rights (access, rectification, erasure, portability, objection, restriction). Same email address gets you all of them.

Security

The site runs over HTTPS with a Let's Encrypt certificate. Passwords are hashed with bcrypt. Database access is restricted to the application account. We patch our servers on a regular schedule. That said, no online system is bulletproof; if we ever have reason to believe your account has been compromised, we will tell you promptly.

Children

Coincision is not directed at children under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.

Affiliate disclosure

Coincision participates in the Pionex affiliate program. When you sign up with Pionex through one of our links, we may earn a referral commission on your future trading fees. There is no additional cost to you, and this does not influence what the tool tells you about any coin.

Changes to this policy

We'll update this page (and bump the "Last updated" date at the top) if our practices change. For material changes we'll also email registered users.
